“ Im new to east LA and wanted to find a place like Fosters Freeze. This place doesnt have burgers which is fine cus FF didnt have good burgers anyway.. lol. However there is a place right next door that sells Mexican food! I got a banana sundae and a small sundae for my partner. Bomb! Bonus thats its down the street from where I live. ”
“ Born and raised in ELA been coming here since I was a kid and now that Ive moved to the IE we still make time to come visit anytime we are in the area... My only complaint is that I believe they have recently changed the chocolate on the dipped cones which is one of my go to choices but this last time we visited the chocolate seemed like plastic and didnt even taste like chocolate if you changed the chocolate to maybe save some money please go back, I dont think Ill ever have the dipped cone again if it doesnt go back to the previous chocolate or possibly it was a bad batch also please bring back the butterscotch option for dipped cones otherwise my other option is always a banana split... Either way we will keep coming back for years to come, my kids always make sure to remind me to stop anytime were in the area rain or shine ”

“ I used to live in the area while affiliated with CSULA. The place hasnt changed much. It gives off that 1960s Southern California vibe to this date. Everything about it has been consistent over time Provides me with that momentary pause of childhood revelry remembered. Perfect for the gourmand in me too. If your nearby, and have kids in tow, and want a slightly pricier, but more fulfilling ice cream run to satisfy their tiny palates this is the place. Otherwise, McDonalds is a block away. Bobs has stood the test of time. That should tell you something... ”
“ This is our local Ice Cream parlor. In the heart of East LA and close to many other landmarks. Located near Atlantic and Beverly, walking distance from the Gold Line ending in East Los Angeles. We love the dipped cones and milk shakes. They also have delicious parfaits, banana splits, etc.. If you need a ice cream break in the day this is the place. ”
